Every year, National BVA sends all regional
groups in “good standing” an even proportioned amount collected from the
interest of lifetime membership dues. This money is usually received around
the second week of November. Last year, we received over $1400.00.
Every year, we distribute portions of this money to our VIST Coordinators, joining contributors from the Blind Rehabilitation Center level, and other outside surrounding programs within South Carolina. Throughout the year, these people attributed to our local communities, enhancing veteran services and are continually fighting for continued support throughout the Veterans Administration (VA) system. As of this date, South Carolina Regional Group reports as of 30 April 2009, is $3,305.46. |
